Role: UX Researcher
This project focused on improving operational efficiency and user experience for restaurant staff through targeted UX research and design solutions. By understanding the challenges faced by restaurant teams, we aimed to create tools that streamline workflows, enhance communication, and empower staff to deliver better service.
Research Goals
1. Identify pain points in restaurant operations, particularly in order management and communication.
2. Understand the needs of restaurant staff, from managers to kitchen teams.
3. Design user-centered solutions to improve efficiency and reduce friction.

Research Methods
User Interviews: Conducted interviews with restaurant owners, managers, and staff to gather qualitative insights.

Surveys: Distributed surveys to 50+ restaurant workers to quantify common challenges.
Observation: Observed workflows in real-world restaurant settings to identify inefficiencies.
Key Findings
Outdated POS Systems:
Staff struggled with clunky, unintuitive point-of-sale systems that slowed down order processing.
Communication Gaps:
Miscommunication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams led to delays and errors.
Training Challenges:
