Massive Action Pocket Guide
Role: Cover Design + Design Direction
The Massive Action Pocket Guide distills the ideas from Bruce Mau’s Mau: MC 24, Massive Change, and The Nexus into a compact, accessible format. Created in collaboration with Bruce Mau’s team and Columbia College Chicago’s Brand Design Practicum class, the guide serves as an introduction to Mau’s work for clients and stakeholders.
As one of four designers, I contributed to the design direction and cover design, helping shape the guide’s visual identity. We curated key content and imagery, experimenting with layouts before settling on a free-flowing style where each spread felt unique yet cohesive. Under my direction, we incorporated small black and gray boxes as a unifying element, balancing consistency with individual creativity. Below are a few spreads I worked on, reflecting my contributions to the project.
